CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Andre Drummond dropped 23 points on them and pulled down 16 rebounds, and Blake Griffin and Reggie Bullock both added 21, as the Pistons led wire-to-wire before putting away the Cavaliers on Monday, 113-102.
The loss drops the Cavs to 0-8 on the road, 2-13 overall.
The 11-point loss is misleading, as the Cavaliers trailed by 20 at the half and 29 at one point. But Collin Sexton scored a team-high 18, and Jordan Clarkson added 16, as the young Cavs kept battling.
All eyes now turn to Wednesday night and the return of LeBron James to Cleveland, his first game at the "Q" in a Lakers uniform. After the game against L.A., during which the Cavs will honor their former star with a video tribute, the Cavaliers close out November with games against the Sixers, Rockets, T-Wolves, Thunder and Celtics.
In other words, the growing pains are likely to continue.
