CHAGRIN FALLS, OH (WOIO) - “It was like insane. It was awesome. We had a line out the door. It was crazy, like herds of people coming in.”
That’s exactly what small business owners, including Isabel Pritchett -- of the Sanity Boutique in Chagrin Falls -- want and need.
“Tomorrow is going to be pretty big. We have a lot of people that truly love shopping local and believe it’s so important to shop local,” she said.
Logan Paul and her mom Mary Jo love shopping together.
“It kinda makes you feel better knowing you’re supporting your community and what’s around you, instead of kinda of dealing with the hustle and bustle of the mall,” said Paul.
Sanity has been in business for a decade. Isabel says it’s due to a variety of unique products and great customer service.
“It’s more personal. A lot of our customers we know them by first name. We know the items that they like. When we get something in we call them. It’s more like a family friend than it is a customer.”
Of course having 20 percent off the whole store all weekend helps.
$13 billion was spent in 2017 during Small Business Saturday.
