Two vans stolen from Boys and Girls Clubs of Cleveland

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The Boys and Girls Clubs of Cleveland is asking for donations to help raise money for a new van, after two of their vans were stolen Tuesday evening.

The vans were taken from a temporary parking spot across from the Broadway Club, 6114 Broadway Ave.

Cleveland police said they currently have no suspects.

According to the Boys and Girls Club President and CEO Ron Soeder, replacing the vans will take money away from operations that provide safe, fun places for kids after school each day.

Soeder also estimated it will cost about $22,500 to replace each van, because the vans only had liability coverage.
