LOUISVILLE, OH (WOIO) - Bring on the snow. One Northeast family wants plenty of it. Last winter, Father and Son Property Maintenance in Stark County showed off their pink snow plow.

It’s a 14-foot pusher box attached to a huge front loader, painted pink with the words “pushin for a cure” next to a pink awareness ribbon.

They added up the hours the plow was used and decided to make a donation of $3,000 to cancer research at Mercy Medical Center.

The campaign was such a success they’re doing it again this winter. Now they’ve added a second pink plow to their fleet.

The pink snow plow mission is in honor of Gloria Woronka, the matriarch of the family and a cancer survivor.

Her grandson, Austin came up with the idea. The Woronka family have been in business for more than 30 years. They hope to keep this going every year and get their competitors to get involved.
