CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Crimestoppers in Cleveland have upped the reward for Gianni Gray to $5,000.

Reward increased for Cleveland Highway killer

He has been on the run since a double murder on the West 117th Street ramp from I-90 back in July.

Video shows a man in the passenger seat of a car reaching out the window and firing into a car it pulled up next to. The intended victim was killed as well as his passenger and a woman in a second car.

Andre Williams' sister Cassandra McDonald says her brother’s death has devastated the family. He was a father of four.

Wednesday would have been his 36th birthday.

“Instead of seeing him walk through the door and celebrating him, I had to go to a cemetery to tell him I missed him and tell him ‘Happy Birthday’ there," said McDonald.

Richard McIntosh of the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office and Crimestoppers says there is urgency to getting Gray off the streets as he is extremely dangerous and has little regard for the lives of others.

He feels those who might be close to Gray are keeping themselves in danger by not sharing information to put him away.

Crimestoppers promises tips remain confidential.

“Nobody knows you provided us with information and Gianni Gray will never know you provided us with information,” McIntosh said.
