Trade brings Matthew Dellavedova back to Cleveland

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -A fan favorite is returning to Cleveland as part of a three-team trade that was finalized Friday.

Cavaliers trade for Matthew Dellavedova

The Cavaliers have acquired guard Matthew Dellavedova and forward John Henson from the Bucks in exchange for shipping George Hill off to Milwaukee and sending Sam Dekker to the Wizards.

As part of the deal, the Cavs will also receive the Bucks’ first and second round draft picks in 2021 and second round pick from the Wizards in 2022.

Dellavedova, who is averaging 1.7 points a game this year for the Bucks, played in Cleveland from 2013-16.

Delly was a part of the 2016 Championship team, but he left for Milwaukee the following season.

Hill appeared in 13 games for the Cavs this season, averaging 10.8 points a game.
