Mother, daughter miraculously unharmed after airborne car plummets into Garfield Heights parking lot (video)

GARFIELD HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) - A mother and her 11-year-old daughter are lucky to be alive after their car went airborne, flipped and crashed down into a parking lot Wednesday morning.

Garfield Heights Police report the woman was driving through the intersection of Transportation Boulevard and Granger Road when she struck two cars, smashed through a fence and flipped her Kia sedan down onto cars parked in a Siemens lot.

The woman has a medical condition, which likely contributed to the accident, police said.

The woman’s daughter was taken to MetroHealth hospital as a precaution.

Miraculously, the pair only suffered minor injuries.

The crash is under investigation.
