DENVER, CO (WOIO) - The Browns are trying to keep their slim chance to make the playoffs alive as they defeat the Broncos for the first time since 1990 with a final score of 17-16 in Denver.
The Browns' season record jumps to 6-7-1 while the Broncos now fall to 6-8.
Just three-minutes into what would continue to be a nail-biter, the game, QB Baker Mayfield found WR Breshad Perriman for a 31-yard catch to put the Browns on the board while giving Perriman his first touchdown catch since Dec. 4, 2016.
Denver was a 2.5-point Las Vegas favorite to win the game with the total set at 46, but that didn’t stop Mayfield from showing off his pregame moves in Broncos country.
