FBI asking for the public’s help in identifying Brink’s truck robber

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The FBI is hoping someone will notice something in newly released pictures and video of a suspect robbing a Brink’s armored truck employee in Cleveland back in June.

According to investigators, at 9:26 a.m on June 25, an unknown black or hispanic male robbed a Brink’s employee as he was servicing the Citizens Bank ATM located at 5841 Broadway Avenue in Cleveland.

The ATM is located in the southwest corner of the parking lot next to Save-a-Lot and Citi Trends stores.

According to the information released by the FBI, the suspect, who was waiting in the parking lot, approached the Brink’s employee on a motorcycle that is possibly a Yamaha with a chrome gas tank.

Investigators say the suspect, while on the motorcycle, stopped at the ATM and pointed a black handgun at the employee and demanded cash. The Brink's employee handed over the cash in the Brink's bag that was supposed to go into the ATM. The suspect took the cash and placed it into his shoulder bag and left the lot on the motorcycle onto Cable Avenue toward Adolpha Avenue.
