CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Every year more people hit the road and travel for the holidays, and that includes Cleveland.

According to AAA 112.5 million people travel somewhere during the holidays, that’s a 4.4 percent increase over last year.

Last year National Geographic Traveler even included Cleveland in the 2018 the “Best of the World” list, citing the city’s cultural energy.

So we’ve compiled a list of seven things to do in and around Cleveland with family during the holiday season.

Take a hike across the Hope Memorial Bridge, because it is the best way to see the city.

The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is open year round and honestly the animals are more active in the colder months, so go see a different side of the wildlife.

Visit the top of Terminal Tower and see the city from one of Cleveland’s landmark building. Tickets must be purchased in advance, but here’s the link.
