Cavs stung by Hornets

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The Cavaliers started off strong on Wednesday night, riding the momentum of Tuesday night’s last-second win in Indianapolis, but fatigue, and the Hornets, eventually overcame them as they fell in Charlotte, 110-99.

Twice the Cavaliers led by 13 points in the first half, but a 5-point halftime lead gave way to a 7-pt deficit heading into the 4th quarter, and the Cavs never recovered.

Six Cavaliers finished in double-figures, led by Jordan Clarkson’s team-high 20 points, while Kemba Walker led the Hornets with a game-high 30.

The road trip continues, with the Cavalierrs (8-24) taking on the Raptors in Toronto on Friday.
