CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Kawhi Leonard was a force to be reckoned with on Friday night at the Scotiabank Arena, pouring in 37 points on 12-of-16 shooting to lead the Raptors past the Cavaliers 126-110.
The Raptors jumped out to 12-2 lead in the first quarter and never looked back. The Cavs never held a lead in the game and were only tied once, 2-2. It was the second straight win for the team with the best record in the NBA, despite missing starters Kyle Lowry, Serge Ibaka and Danny Green due to injuries.
The Cavaliers were not able to overcome bumps and bruises. Rodney Hood played only 17 minutes because of a sore left foot. David Nwaba played only 14 minutes because of a second quarter ankle injury.
Jordan Clarkson lead Cleveland with 20 points off the bench.
