CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The search has begun.

The Cleveland Browns interviewed Jim Caldwell Wednesday for the team’s head coaching position.

Caldwell was an NFL head coach twice in a career that spans 40 years. He is the second candidate to be interviewed; Gregg Williams sat down with the team’s front office on Tuesday.

According to Cleveland Browns team writer Andrew Gribble, Caldwell posted a combined record of 64-54 as the head coach with the Detroit Lions (2014-17) and Indianapolis Colts (2009-11). He was also a head coach at the college level, leading Wake Forest from 1993-2000.

In 2009, Caldwell took the Colts to Super Bowl XLIV, where the Saints won 31-17.
