Late Tuesday night, a 19-year-old man was trying to open up the door of his Mayview Road home in Old Brooklyn. Out of nowhere, he and his 24-year-old neighbor were approached by a man with a tote back asking if they ordered food.

When they told him “no,” the man dropped the bag and pulled out a gun, pointing it at the couple. Two more men showed up and forced them inside.

Police say while one of the men watched the couple, the others took wallets, a cellphone, and their house and car keys.

When the victims got away from the robbers out a backdoor, gunshots were fired.

One of the bullets hit the 19-year-old in the torso. His father tells Cleveland 19 he’s doing okay. He’s just hoping police track down the suspects.
