CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Lago East Bank announced it is showing their support to local federal employees and their families affected by the partial government shutdown by giving free pasta and meatballs.
The Italian restaurant’s owners Fabio and Nicole Salerno said they “recognize the need and see how the shutdown is affecting families similar to their own. We see the need in our local community and we urge other businesses to follow suit.”
The offer began Wednesday, Jan. 9.
To receive the free meal, federal employees need to present a valid Government Issued ID.
