CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The Cleveland Cavaliers got their ninth win of the season against the Los Angles Lakers on Sunday night.

Final Score: 101-95

Well-rounded basketball was played by all of the Cavs, but guard Cedi Osman led the team with 20 points and 8 rebounds.

Bigs on the boards

Tristan Thompson stood out, finishing the game with a strong double-double: 15 points and 14 rebounds

Alec Burks also contributed with 17 points and 13 rebounds

LeBron James did not dress and will miss at least another week with a strained left groin injury, according to ESPN.

The Lakers are now 3-7 without the star forward.

Team morale was high in the Cavs locker room but rookie Collin Sexton says that type of energy will have to be the norm to create an atmosphere of winning.

The Cavaliers have the chance to build a streak in the right direction this Wednesday against the Portland Trailblazers.
