Cleveland firefighter injured as crews work to douse early morning blaze

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Cleveland Fire gathered in bunches to put out flames on the 500 block of East 120th Street near St. Clair Avenue.

Cleveland 19 arrived on the scene around 5 a.m. and did a live report on television and Facebook Live.

The fire was put to rest but one firefighter injured his hand in the process.

It is not a life-threatening injury.

According to Cleveland Fire, the home was vacant at the time.

Firefighters got a handle of the flames around 5:30 a.m. and the fire is no longer a risk to neighbors.

As of now, there is no report on what caused the fire.
