On Monday’s edition of “Sunny Side Up”:

One South Euclid teen called the police on her father for taking her cellphone.

Police say the teen was adamant that her said punishment was theft.

Police informed the teen that having a cell phone under the age of 18 is a privilege.

Bringing us to the question of the day:

If a parent punishes their child by taking away their phone, is it theft?
