AVON, OH (WOIO) - A woman is now facing felony charges for allegedly driving drunk the wrong way on I-90.
Avon police have charged Jennifer Quinn with aggravated vehicular assault, OVI, reckless operation and divided roadways.
Police said Quinn was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes from the State Route 611 exit and entrance ramps just after midnight on Jan. 2.
She crashed head-on into a car traveling westbound.
Both Quinn and the other driver were injured and transported to local hospitals.
Quinn was taken into custody by police when she was released from the University Hospitals Richmond Heights facility on Jan. 15.
She is currently out on a $5,000 bond and will appear in court on Jan. 22.
Police are not releasing the name or condition of the driver she struck.
