LORAIN, OH (WOIO) - Police are investigating after four people were shot this past weekend.

The first two victims were shot just after 10 p.m. on Friday in the 1300 block of W. 17th Street.

When officers arrived they found Aliece Hill, 23, and Brandon Atkinson, 26, both suffering from gunshot wounds.

They were transported to Mercy Regional Medical Center and then flown to MetroHealth Hospital.

Two other victims were shot around 12:30 a.m. on Feb. 9 after a fight outside the Off-Shore Pub and Grub.

According to police, Julian Smith, 32, and Charles Mundo, 34, were both shot.

Smith was found behind a nearby building.

Mundo was found in the middle of the street on Colorado Avenue.

Police do not believe the incidents are related.
