$3M bond for suspect accused of killing 83-year-old man in road rage incident

GARFIELD HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) - Cronie Lloyd, 48, was arraigned at Garfield Heights Municipal Court Monday, Feb. 11 at 11 a.m.

According to police, Lloyd attacked 83-year-old Gary Power at a Sunoco gas station in Independence on Feb. 3, he died two days later.

Monday was Lloyd’s first appearance in court, the Judge placed him on a $3 million dollar bond.

Lloyd was arrested at his job in Ravenna on Friday, Feb. 8.

He appeared in court via video from the Independence City Jail.

Lloyd’s case has now been bound over to Cuyahoga County and he will make his first appearance in county court on Feb. 18th at 9:45 a.m.

In court we also learned Lloyd has been arrested twice for OVI, since he was released from prison in 2016.
