Hazmat crews respond to snowplow collision at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Airport officials and crews from the Cleveland Fire Department worked to clean up a fuel spill at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.

Two snow removal vehicles collided while removing snow just after 11 a.m. Wednesday triggering a small spill, officials say.

Shortly before 12:30 p.m., the Cleveland Fire Department says the spill was safely contained.

There were no injuries reported as a result of the collision.

The incident did not impact air travel.
