’It’s our turn!’: Cleveland Browns fans react to team’s potential after Odell Beckham Jr. trade
Mark Dillard of Cleveland says the moment he woke up this morning and found out that Odell Beckham Jr. was joining the Browns, the longtime fan put on everything he had that was Browns - including his gloves.

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The morning after the Browns added Odell Beckham Jr. to their roster, Browns fans we talked to seemed to be walking on air.

For the first time in decades, they told us the tide has turned in the Dawg Pound’s favor.

’It’s our turn!’: Cleveland Browns fans react to team’s potential after Odell Beckham Jr. trade

Mark Dillard of Cleveland was wearing everything Browns - including Browns-themed gloves.

“Odell Beckham Jr. Pick was unbelievable. Didn’t expect it. At 5 o’clock this morning, saw the news, and put on the gear,” said Dillard.

Clarence Wilson, of Lakewood, told us he hasn’t felt this way about the team for years.

“This is ridiculous. I haven’t been this gassed up about the Browns since ’85, ’86, ’'87, 88, ’89. The most talent they’ve had in forever. It’s early, but we are making the playoffs guaranteed,” said Wilson.

Charles Brunecz's wife said that her husband had been up all night reading posts on social media about the pick.

“Super excited. It’s good for the city. I think he is going to bring a whole lot of excitement. It’s good to be a Browns fan today,” said Brunecz.

“I love it. Odell is actually my favorite player in the NFL. So, now I think that we’ve got all the talent that it’s going to get a an AFC title and maybe the Super Bowl. We’ll see,” said Tom Kancyan of Broadview Heights.

Who is making fun of the Browns now? Do you hear the crickets?

“I’ve always had a Browns license plate. So, even in the 0 and 16 time frame, I was still pushing for the Browns to win some games. So, looking forward, obviously everyone is real excited to see this happen,” said Jacob Amburgy of Norwalk.

“I think it’s great for the city. I think that it’s Cleveland’s turn. It’s our turn,” added Dillard.
