Cleveland officials provide traffic, safety tips ahead of St. Patrick’s Day Parade

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Safety officials from Cleveland are expected to announce logistical plans for this weekend’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

A press conference is scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday.

Officials will discuss the city’s traffic plan, parade details, transit changes, and provide a canine demonstration during the announcement.

This year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade in downtown Cleveland, which dates back to 1842, kicks off on Sunday, March 17 at 2:04 p.m.

Approximately 10,000 participants will march from East 18th Street and Superior Avenue west towards Rockwell Avenue.
