AKRON, OH (WOIO) - Akron police are trying to identify a suspect caught on surveillance footage breaking into a vehicle and stealing a backpack.

The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. on March 9 in the 2000 block of Quayle Drive.

According to police, there has been a rash of vehicle break-ins nearby over the last week.
