CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Ohio State’s 2019 tournament ended on Saturday night in Tulsa, they became the 16th team in a row to lose to Houston.

The Buckeyes were going back and forth with the Cougars in the early stages of the first half. A Musa Jallow free throw with 8:19 left in the first half gave Ohio State a 25-23 lead. From there Houston ripped off a 14-3 run and never lost the lead.

Corey Davis, Jr. lead four Houston players in double figures with 21 points. C.J. Jackson lead the Buckeyes with 18 in the losing effort.

Houston advanced to the Sweet-16 where they will play Kentucky.
