Cleveland Browns fans looking forward to new team, new look

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The Cleveland Browns will be rolling out new uniforms for the 2020 season, and fans seem to like the idea.

The last time the team unveiled a new look was in 2015.

A whole lot has happened since then, like the 0 and 16 season, and then new hope. Along came Baker Mayfield, and now Odell Beckham Jr.

It’s the beginning of what seems like a new era for the Browns.

“New team, new uniforms, new winning attitude,” said John James, of Cleveland.

“I think it’s a great idea. You know it’s a new team, a new spirit. You need new jerseys,” said Devonte Jackson, of Cleveland.

What will the new unis look like? That won’t be revealed until the spring of 2020.

“I really would like to see something on the side of the helmet as well. It would be a big improvement. It’s one of the only ones that doesn’t have something up there. So, it would be nice to see that,” said Eric Shamberger, of Cleveland.

“I am interested to see something that says ‘Champions’ on it because we are going to win,” said Delisa Carter, of Cleveland.

But, not all fans think a change is needed.

“I don’t think they need nothing either. The ones we have are fine. They hold a lot of tradition, the old Municipal Stadium, the old stadium. They are about to bring it back, the old tradition,” said Deonte Vaughn.
