CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The world watched in horror as flames ripped through France’s Notre Dame cathedral on Monday.

The photo gallery below shows the massive flames that tore through the historic cathedral.

The French President Emmanuel Macron has said that the Cathedral, gutted by the devastating fire will be rebuilt.

The French president told reporters near the scene that he will seek international help, including the “greatest talents” in the world, to rebuild Notre Dame.

The images below show the tremendous damage done to the 850-year-old place of worship.

The iconic front-facing towers appear to have been saved.
