Suspended Vice President of Twinsburg's U.S. Food Service arrested for theft

TWINSBURG, OH (WOIO) - Summit County Sheriff Deputies investigated a U.S. Food Service in Twinsburg Township for a burglary on Saturday morning.

They discovered the company vice-president, Hans Gottschalk, entered the business and stole tow motor batteries. The batteries were valued at over $6,000.00. Later that day, a deputy patrolling Twinsburg located Mr. Gottschalk in a stolen Penske truck and he was taken into custody.

During the investigation, detectives learned Mr. Gottschalk was suspended from the company but knew how to gain access to the business. They also discovered Mr. Gottschalk sold the batteries for scrap prior to being arrested.

Mr. Gottschalk, age 39, address unknown, was arrested for felony Theft and was booked into the Summit County Jail. The batteries were recovered at a Cleveland scrap yard.
