    A mother and son have been arrested for attempted first-degree murder, according to Chief Chris Wilrye with Westlake Police Department. Chief Wilrye says on June 7, Westlake Police Department received a call in reference to a red Ford SUV attempting to run over two males on Shafer Street twice. Both victims said they had to jump out of the way to avoid being struck by the vehicle. The victims identified the driver of the vehicle as Kaelan Blaine Prater, 18, and the passenger as Devi...
