Local teen-ager bears scars from vicious attack

CLEVELAND – A local teen-age was viciously attacked on Wednesday, and she has the scars to prove it, Action News reported.

Clareese Prince, 14, said that she was on her way home from Nathan Hale Middle School when another girl attacked her.

Prince (pictured, above) said that the attack was the culmination of an altercation over a boy. She said that the girl who attacked her was in a jealous rage.

"She ran up behind me and hit me," Prince said. "She yelled, 'There goes that (expletive) who goes with him.'"

Prince said that she doesn't even like the guy. Regardless, she ended up with 14 stitches in her face and a lot of other scratches.

Fortunately, school security saw what was happening and ran over to help. They pulled the girl off of Prince and helped to get her medical treatment.

Police have not charged the other teen just yet.
