Police closer to solving murder

CLEVELAND - Police in Cleveland are closer to solving a murder, Action News reported on Monday.

Police officials said that they found the body of a man inside of a car at East 92nd Street and Sophia Road early Sunday morning.

The victim was later identified as 24-year-old Jameel Alexander.

Witnesses told police that they saw a man who fled the scene in a 1989 Ford Taurus running from the car. The man was said to be wearing dark pants and a dark green, hooded jacket with the logo "RW" on the back.

Detectives said they believe that someone who lives in the neighborhood might be the killer.
