UPDATE: MIAMI, FL (WOIO) - An arraignment for NFL'er Donte Stallworth this morning in a Miami courtroom.
As expected, the Cleveland Browns WR did not appear. Rather, his attorney entered a not guilty plea on his behalf.
The 28-year-old is accused of fatally striking a pedestrian with his Bentley in Miami.
59-year-old Mario Reyes was killed in the March accident. Reyes worked in the area and was headed to a nearby bus stop when he was struck down.
Prosecutors say Stallworth's blood alcohol content was .12%. The state's legal limit is .08%.
The police report states that Reyes was not in the crosswalk but also states that careless driving contributed to the deadly accident.
Stallworth faces up to 15 years if convicted.
Trial is slated for July 7th.
