CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A veteran Cleveland Police officer will be in Medina County Common Pleas Court today as his jury trial begins.

The police officer is accused of hiding a camera in a women's restroom in his Medina County business.

Sgt. Timothy Richissin is charged with voyeurism, tampering with evidence, obstructing official business and possession of criminal tools.

A former employee found video from the camera on a company flash drive and gave a copy to the Medina County Sheriff's Department.

Richissin claims it was all a joke but has been suspended without pay until his trial is over.
