MEDINA, OH (WOIO) - A sticky-fingered Columbus woman busted in Medina County with thousands in stolen goods.
Jillonda Maxwell was arrested on SR 83 at SR 18 in Litchfiled Village after a traffic stop Tuesday night.
The Trooper stopped the 24-year-old's rental vehicle, a 2009 KIA, for failure to yield at a yield sign. A drug detecting canine alerted to the vehicle.
A search of the vehicle revealed numerous articles of clothing with the tags still attached, 30 bottles of perfume and lotions and 32 packages of cigars. Maxwell did not have receipts for the items and made a statement that the items were stolen.
The amount of stolen goods tops out at $5,500 dollars.
She was arrested, charged with receiving stolen property and incarcerated at the Medina County Jail.
