(WOIO) - Shocking developments surrounding baller turned jailbird Donte Stallworth.

The Cleveland Browns WR has been popped from prison early after serving just 24-days out of a 30-day sentence for DUI Manslaughter.

He was released just before 6AM Friday and made no comment to a throng of reporters waiting for him.

The NFL'er was drunk when he hit and killed Mario Reyes in Miami Beach this past spring. 59-year-old Reyes worked in the area and was headed to a nearby bus stop when he was struck down in the March accident. Prosecutors say Stallworth's blood alcohol content was .12%. The state's legal limit is .08%.

Stallworth pleaded guilty as part of a plea bargain - he had faced up to 15-years behind bars.

Stallworth is on 8-years probation and must serve 1,000 hour of community service. He has also been suspended indefinitely by the NFL without pay.
