Murder: Police Search For Suspect Who Shot, Killed 33-Year-Old Clevelander

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Cleveland Police are currently investigating a homicide that happened late Friday evening, July 10th on St. Clair Avenue.

A 33-year-old male was shot on the sidewalk in front of 11201 St. Clair Avenue and killed by a single gunshot wound to the back.

Witnesses reported seeing the above a suspect chasing the victim in the area of E. 112th Street and St. Clair Avenue.

The suspect fired at the victim striking him in the back. The victim collapsed on the sidewalk and the suspect fled on foot.

The victim was taken to Huron Road Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The suspect is described as a black male, between 20 and 30-years-old, approximately 5'3" tall, dark skinned, short hair, wearing blue jeans, white shirt, black and white "Jordan" tennis shoes.

Cleveland Police have no arrests at this time.
