Help A Child With Diabetes- Win Jonas Brothers Tickets

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The American Diabetes Association is proud to announce a collaboration with the Jonas Brothers in conjunction with their upcoming "lines, vines and trying times" concert tour, coming to Quicken Loans Arena on August 27th, 2009.

The pop trio is made up of brothers Kevin, Joe and Nick. Two years ago, Nick was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, and the brothers have been passionate about sharing Nick's personal story about diabetes since he publicly announced his diagnosis. "A Little Bit Longer," the title track of the band's latest cd, is a song Nick composed after being diagnosed with diabetes.

Thanks to the Jonas family's generosity, the American Diabetes Association is able to share two tickets and back-stage passes to their upcoming concert in Cleveland on August 27th as part of its Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes. Every step taken and every dollar raised helps the ADA provide education programs in the community, protect the rights of people with diabetes and fund critical research for a cure.

Take the first step in the fight against diabetes by registering to walk in the local Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes and make a difference in the life of a child with diabetes. Every participant that registers and raises $500 by August 5th, 2009 in the fight against diabetes is eligible to win the two tickets and back-stage passes to the concert. Tickets must be used by a child with diabetes and an adult chaperone.

Participants may register by visiting or by calling 1-888-diabetes.
