CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Here's your chance to receive free medical care.  Medworks will provide free medical care from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 25 and 26 at the W.O. Walker Center on Euclid Avenue at East 105th Street.

You must call to schedule an appointment.  The numbers to call are 216-858-6250 or 1-877-790-7370 toll-free. The call center will be open in the evenings, 6 to 8:30 p.m., beginning July 13, until all appointments are taken.

"People interested in receiving care should call into the phone bank as soon as possible," said MedWorks organizer Zac Ponsky, "because there's a limited number of spots available."

Dozens of doctors, nurses, eye specialists and other medical professionals will treat patients,  at no cost, regardless of where they live, how much they earn or their citizenship.

X-rays and other diagnostic tests will be offered. And CVS will fill MedWorks prescriptions at no cost.

Dental care also will be provided, but only to waiting-list patients and others referred to MedWorks by the Free Medical Clinic of Greater Cleveland and Care Alliance Health Center.
