Cleveland in Space!

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The station's orbit over the next few days puts it in a prime location for viewing from Cleveland, weather permitting!

With more than 38,000 square feet of reflective solar arrays, each array being about the size of a football field end zone, the station is easily seen with the unaided eye as it appears as bright as or brighter than the most luminous stars.

Beginning Friday, July 17th, residents in Cleveland and the surrounding areas with have multiple morning opportunities to watch as the station moves across the sky, with the best opportunity coming on the 20th, the night of the Apollo 11 anniversary. In depth sighting details are given below:
