In Court: Founders of Akron Area Animal Shelter Set For Arraignment Tuesday

AKRON, OH (WOIO) - Two women who ran an Akron area animal rescue shelter will be arraigned in court Tuesday.

The women will appear in Akron Municipal Court after authorities pulled more than 100 animals  out of the shelter last week.

Heather Nagel and Patricia Mihaly, founders of "Heaven Can Wait" are both charged with 15 counts of animal cruelty.

Authorities raided their home on Vesper Street last week.

The animals are all being held at the Humane Society of Greater Akron.

The home has been condemned.
