CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The 18-year-old accused of sparking a Westside Cleveland fire was in court Thursday morning.

Terry McGuire pleaded not guilty to the arson charge.

Detectives busted him early Monday morning after he allegedly tried to set fire to an empty house on W. 44th.

Investigators had been watching McGuire since his name kept popping up after last week's huge fire at West 44th & Lorain. The devastating fire left two families homeless and destroyed three buildings.

Bond was set at a half a million dollars.
