NEW DETAILS: CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A devastating fire on Cleveland's Eastside early Friday morning.

Roaring flames could be seen pouring out of the house around 1:15AM on E. 116 & Kinsman.

Fire Station 41 is located just down the street from the home so crews were able to arrive within about 30 seconds. The house was already totally engulfed by the time help arrived.

Eight people were inside the two-family house when the fire sparked - three children were injured.

A nine-year-old boy is listed in critical condition, a 10-year-old girl and a five-year-old girl are also being treated at Metro and are listed in stable condition.

A firefighter was also treated for shortness of breath - he was taken to the hospital for evaluation and has since been treated and released.

Damage is estimated at $50K dollars and the cause remains under investigation.

At this time, no working smoke detectors have been found inside the two-family home.
