CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Judgement day for a Cleveland woman who killed a suspected car thief.

Annette Porozynski was sentenced to five years in prison Wednesday morning. She had faced a maximum sentence of 15 years behind bars.

Jurors found the 54-year-old guilty of involuntary manslaughter and abduction in the 2007 death of Audrey Lawrence.

This, after Porozynski discovered her car was stolen while at a friend's house on Berman Avenue. Porozynski reported it stolen and then went looking for 24-year old Lawrence, whom she located two blocks away in her car. Porozynski blocked the victim in, jumped inside the vehicle and assaulted her.

Lawrence died later that night in the hospital.
