CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Overnight Tuesday, August 11th, crews will close the I-77 northbound entrance and exit ramps to and from Pleasant Valley Road from midnight until 6 a.m. in order to perform earthwork in the vicinity.
Crews will also close the Rockside Road entrance ramp to I-77 southbound from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. in order to move concrete barrier wall in the vicinity.
Both daily and nightly lane and ramp closures are expected, however closures will not impact rush hours.
Interstate 77 north and southbound traffic has been shifted onto the new pavement adjacent to the center media wall between Wallings and Rockside Roads.
The Rockside Road eastbound ramp to I-77 northbound remains restricted to one, narrow lane.
Motorists are encouraged to use caution and follow all posted signage as traffic patterns have changed. The entire project adds a lane on I-77 between Oakes Road and Rockside Road.
Tentative completion date: October 2011.
