Unwatched: Toddler Found Wandering, Uncle Could Face Charges

WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS (WOIO) - Another toddler has been found wandering the streets!

Warrensville Heights Police tell 19 Action News that the toddler was found walking by himself around 8 p.m. Tuesday.

A passerby spotted the boy on Eastwood lane and called police.

Police arrived and walked the boy around the neighborhood looking for relatives but nobody came forward. The boy was taken to SouthPoint Hospital just to get check out.

Later Tuesday evening, the boy's uncle contacted police and said he had brought his nephew up to Eastwood Grade School for football practice.

Warrensville Heights police took the boy home to his mother and the investigation continues.

According to police, the uncle could face charges.
