CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO)- Gang members beware, there's a big gang round-up going down on the city's west side!

Cleveland Police say so far they have about 27 or 34 gang suspects arrested.

Each suspect faces federal charges.

Cleveland Police also tell 19 Action News that these gang members are connected to the Latin Kings gang.

The FBI, Cuyahoga County Sheriff, Mayor Jackson and the Cleveland Police Chief will held a news conference Thursday afternoon.  They detailed how they uncovered a large scale, multi-person conspiracy to distribute heroin, cocaine, and crack cocaine which extended from Cleveland to New York to the Dominican Republic.

We're told the drugs were coming into Cleveland on a weekly basis.  Officials say the ring leaders are Vincente Benitez, an illegal Dominican National living here and his common law wife, Adriana Ventura.

Several other people indicted: Melvin Torres and his girlfriend Johana Sanchez, Eliezer Morales.  Sanchez and Morales both worked at CheckSmart.  Police say they tried to defraud CheckSmart by processing fraudulent loans.
