LAKEWOOD, OH (WOIO) - A former St. Edward's basketball star who went on the play for the University of Cincinnati is sitting in jail with rape charges hanging over his head.

U.S. Marshals picked up Steve Logan on charges of strong-arm rape and gross sexual imposition.

They found him Friday morning inside an apartment on Clifton in Lakewood. Police say he did not put up a fight.

Logan has been wanted by Rocky River Police since August 6th.

He's accused of raping one woman and fondling another.

Logan made a name for himself when he and Sam Clancy led the 1998 St. Edwards basketball team to a state championship win.

To this day he still holds several basketball records at the University of Cincinnati.

Logan ws drafted by the Golden State Warriors in 1999 but because of contract disputes, he never played in an NBA game.
