LORAIN, OH (WOIO) - The United States Department of Justice is planning to make a trip to the  Lorain Police Department today.

In June,  two city council members sent the Justice Department a letter complaining about sexual misconduct and police brutality.

The city says they'll cooperate with federal agents.

The Department of Justice says they should be there for about a week.

The Lorain Law Director, Patrick Riley, confirmed to 19 Action News the city was informed of the visit back in June.
