Arraigned: Teenage Firebug Arrested For Akron Arsons Pleads Not Guilty

AKRON, OH (WOIO) - Police say a 16-year-old is in juvenile detention for a string of arsons.

The 16-year-old pleaded not guilty to one count of aggravated arson, six counts of arson and seven counts of breaking and entering.

The teen will remain in juvy detention until his pre-trial on September 4th at 10:30am.

Monday, August 17th 

3AM: 221 Boder Street

5AM: 54 Penfield Avenue

6AM: 87 West Glenwood Avenue

Tuesday, August 18th

3AM: 318 Cuyahoga Street

3:30 AM: 132 Charles Street, 128 Charles was damaged by heavy smoke.

Wednesday, August 19th 

3:45 AM: 187 Boder Street.

Friday, August 21st

2:30 AM: 72 Glenwood Avenue
